Kalindi Commerford

Kalindi is focused on commercial matters and disputes, having broad experience across procurement, contracts, energy, intellectual property and insurance law matters. She helps clients navigate complex agreements, resolve disputes, and manage risk, from major infrastructure projects to emerging sustainability initiatives.

Kalindi has worked with corporate clients, insurers, and public authorities on drafting and negotiating contracts, assessing risk, and supporting litigation and tribunal matters. Her background includes roles in-house with Fortescue Metals Group and Deloitte Legal, giving her insight into both commercial drivers and legal frameworks. She has also worked on matters involving carbon credits, renewable projects, and large scale tort claims, bringing a practical, solutions focused approach to every matter.

Kalindi was also a member of the Australian Women’s Hockey Team (Hockeyroos) from 2016-2022. During her tenure with the Hockeyroos she was part of the Commonwealth Games 2018 squad, Vitality World Cup London (2018) and Tokyo Olympic squad (2020/2021). She was also the Players Representative on the Australian Hockey Players Association, working with key stakeholders to negotiate contractual matters as well as player training and competition conditions.
