Marieanne is experienced in retail, commercial, office and industrial leasing across Australia, acting for both national landlords and tenants. She is also active across all stages of commercial property development from contract formation and buyer’s due diligence through to development structuring and sale.
Marieanne’s expertise in acting for both sides of property transactions allows her to navigate complex transactions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and complete transactions in a timely manner. She takes a keen interest in understanding a client’s motivations and her clients value her commercial and pragmatic approach to providing advice tailored to their needs.
Marieanne has niche expertise acting for several airport operators in managing their property portfolios and assisting with development of on- and off-airport precincts. Her secondment experience acting as interim General Counsel for two regional airports means Marieanne is well versed in governance frameworks and dynamic in her interaction with senior executive teams and boards.
