We are delighted to welcome Natasha O’Callaghan-Koneska to RedeMont as a Partner, joining the firm on 20 April 2026.
Natasha is a highly accomplished lawyer with in-depth experience advising on construction, infrastructure, procurement and major projects across both the private and public sector, and extends to advising clients on transport infrastructure projects, governance, procurement, strategy and risk management, delivering technical excellence with sound commercial judgement in complex, highly regulated environments.
Her appointment significantly deepens RedeMont’s capability in this space, extending our strength across construction, infrastructure and major projects to sit alongside our established expertise in property, planning and environment, corporate advisory, disputes and regulatory matters.
Most recently, Natasha served as General Counsel and a member of V/Line Corporation’s Executive Leadership Team. V/Line is Australia’s largest regional rail operator, delivering regional rail and coach services and transport infrastructure projects across the State.
Her experience is directly relevant to what is happening right now in Southeast Queensland and across the state. With the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games driving an unprecedented pipeline of infrastructure investment, including transport, venues, precincts and supporting development, the demand for experienced, commercially focused construction and infrastructure legal advice has never been greater. Projects such as Cross River Rail, the Coomera Connector, the Gold Coast Light Rail extensions and the broader Olympic infrastructure program represent exactly the kind of complex, multi-stakeholder major project environment in which Natasha has spent her career. She understands the procurement frameworks, the contractual structures, the regulatory layers and the accountability that come with work of this scale, whether the client is a government authority, a private contractor or an investor.
Bryce Melville, Managing Partner, says:
‘Natasha brings a rare combination of in-house leadership, procurement expertise and deep major project experience. She has operated at the highest levels of the public sector, led significant teams, and done it all with the commercial clarity and personal integrity that our clients expect. With Queensland’s infrastructure pipeline showing no signs of slowing, the timing of her arrival could not be better for our clients.
Natasha is equally clear about what drew her to RedeMont and to Queensland::
‘I was drawn to RedeMont because of the team’s genuine commitment to its clients and consistently shaping outcomes for industry and government. I am excited to bring my experience advising on complex and high-value construction and infrastructure projects to Queensland, at a time when the project pipeline here is extraordinary. The lead-up to the Olympics, the transport and urban infrastructure investment, venues and mixed-use precincts, the scale of what is being built right now is incredible. It is such an exciting time to be working in this space.
Her arrival extends that depth of service for clients who need legal advice that is commercially astute, practically focused and genuinely responsive to the demands of complex project delivery.
